SFT 308-b SYSTEM

SPRAY APPLIED RIGID FOAM

SFT 308-b, is a spray applied rigid foam system, with all the necessary additives and is used in combination with the Isocyanate. This system is specially used to provide in-situ insulation on a variety of surfaces viz. bulk tanks, walls and roofs. Blowing agent used is HCFC 141b and is pre blended into the system.

STORAGE

It is recommended to keep container tightly closed in a dry, cool (20 – 25ºC) and well-ventilated place. Material is slightly hygroscopic, avoid ingress of moisture by keeping containers properly sealed when not in use. If the above terms and conditions applied, the product has a shelf life of six (6) months.

WASTE DISPOSAL

Incineration or waste disposal should be in accordance with all applicable local and national regulations. Kindly check with your local authorities on proper disposal method.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Treat symptomatically and get medical attention immediately.
  • Inhalation: Remove from exposure, if there is any difficulty in breathing, medical attention is   required.
  • Skin contact: Preferably wash with cleanser that contain polyurethane glycol or plenty of water.
  • Eye contact: Hold the eye open and immediately flood the eye with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

METHOD STATEMENT

  1. Surface of application shall be dry, dust free and other contamination must be cleaned.
  2. Isocyanate and polyol shall be mixed by a heated plural machine with a minimum pressure of 2,000 PSI.
  3. Proportion of mixed; 100: 100 in order to sustain a proper mixed to form polyurethane foam.
  4. Mixed material shall be sprayed out through a spray gun
  5. Spray pattern shall be at the discretion of applicators.
